Bob Cryder (Robert Joseph Cryder) was born on September 7, 1956 in O'Fallon, Illinois. After going to high school at O'Fallon (IL), Cryder attended the University of Alabama. Cryder made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1979 was Bob Cryder's best year.
