Bob Costas will verbally rape you

Bonds has felt the verbal sting of Bob Costas. Now he and Rob Parker of Detroit News fame can share the same couch at the psychiatrist office.
Rob Parker was on Mike and Mike this morning, and although I've never heard of him before, Detroit Sports City said he sucks. Since he lives pretty much in Detroit, knows his sports, and knows bad writing, I'm going to go with his opinion. And, apparently, everyone else in Detroit. All that not withstanding, Costas verbally raped him on the radio this morning, and made him look like a complete fool. Rob asked some question about the tainting of the record, and Costas quipped back calling that simplification indeed, "simple minded."
As many are familiar, Costas also shot back at Barry Bonds, when Barry referred to him as a "midget." He said, that he came by his Napoleonotic stature without any kind of artificial enhancement. All that, coming with eloquence and speed. I've never had any kind of special love for Costas, but recently, especially after these run-ins, I would love listening to him more. It's rare to see that kind of a big name, shoot from the hip without worrying about the outcomes. I guess he doesn't have to do that with what DSC calls "fuck you money."
Oh, and Barry Bonds hit 756 last night. Costas calls this record tainted, and includes that it has now lost all majesty and prestige. Right on the money.
