Bob Collins (Robert Joseph Collins) was born on September 18, 1909 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 28, 1940 for the Chicago Cubs. Collins played for the Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees over the course of his 2 year career.
