Bob Cobb (Robert Louis Cobb) was born on October 12, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at Aiken (Cincinnati, OH), Cobb attended Northeast Mississippi Community College, the University of Arizona and the University of Cincinnati. Cobb made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 3 year career.
