Bob Boyd (Robert B. Boyd) was born on March 7, 1928 in Riverside, California. After going to high school at Polytechnic (Riverside, CA), Boyd attended Compton JC and Loyola Marymount University. Boyd made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1954 was Bob Boyd's best year, as he hauled in 53 receptions, had 1212 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
