Bob Babich (Robert Babich) was born on May 5, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at Memorial (Campbell, OH), Babich attended Miami University of Ohio. Babich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Cleveland Browns and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1971 was Bob Babich's best year, as he recovered 3 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
