Bob Argus (Robert Anthony Argus) was born on January 21, 1894 in Hammondsport, New York. After going to high school at Corning Academy (NY) and West Side (Rochester, NY), Argus attended none. Argus made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rochester Jeffersons. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Rochester Jeffersons the entire time. Argus also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Rochester Jeffersons the entire time.
