Bob Adams (Robert Bruce Adams) was born on August 15, 1946 in Stockton, California. After going to high school at San Mateo (CA), Adams attended the College of San Mateo and the University of Pacific. Adams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Bob Adams's best year.
