Bo Russell (Torrance A. Russell) was born on January 23, 1916 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at (Birmingham, AL), Russell attended Auburn University. Russell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1939 was Bo Russell's best year.
