Bo Diaz (Baudilio Jose (Seijas) Diaz) was born on March 23, 1953 in Cua, Miranda (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on September 6, 1977 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1980, his rookie year, he hit .227 with 3 home runs and 32 RBI. Diaz played for the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Bo Diaz's best season was 1982, when he slugged 18 home runs, hit for a .288 average and knocked in 85 runs.
