Bo Burris (James England Burris, Jr.) was born on October 16, 1944 in Luling, Texas. After going to high school at Brazosport (Freeport, TX), Burris attended the University of Houston. Burris made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Bo Burris's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
