[edit] Biography

Born on December 7, 1936 in New York, New York, Bo Belinsky (Robert Belinsky) played for the Los Angeles Angels, Philadelphia Phillies, Houston Astros, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 8 year career. Belinsky broke into the bigs on April 18, 1962 with the Los Angeles Angels, and put up a 3.56 ERA in 187.1 innings pitched in 1962, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Bo Belinsky's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1962, when he posted a 3.56 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 145 batters. However, others believe that it was 1964, when he posted a 2.86 ERA and struck out 91 batters.
