Michael Bishop is heading back to the confines of the Arena Football League, signing a contract with the Kansas City Brigade. Bishop is the current back-up to the Toronto Argonauts main pivot, Damon Allen.
In 2006, Bishop played 7 games for the Chicago Rush. As a memeber of the Rush, Bishop completed 60.4% of his passes for 10 touchdowns and a 94.7 passer rating. The Rush went on to take the Arena Bowl Championship.
Bishop will be returning to the place of his former glory, as a member of the Kansas State football team. With his signing, Bishop is the sixteenth free-agent signing for the Brigade since signings began 1 October.
