Ray Lankford had a good career combining speed and power, but he is far from a hall of famer and he has to carry a very weak line up. Duke Sims, George Yeager, Eddie Joost, Billy Maloney, and Frank Huelsman all finished with a career AVG in the .230's. Bill Spiers is the team's best hitter behind Lankford with a .271 AVG, but he has no power with a .370 SLG and was never a threat to steal any bases. The sole saving grace for this team is Jack Chesbro a Hall of Famer from the turn of the century who posted a 2.68 career ERA in 2897 IP.
