Billy Zitzmann (William Arthur Zitzmann) was born on November 19, 1895 in Long Island City, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 27, 1919 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Zitzmann played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Billy Zitzmann's best season was 1928, when he hit for a .297 average.
