Billy Taylor (William Turner Taylor) was born on July 6, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. After going to high school at John Jay (San Antonio, TX), Taylor attended Texas Technical University. Taylor made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants, Los Angeles Raiders and New York Jets over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Billy Taylor's best year, as he ran for 700 yards, ran in 7 TDs and caught 4 TD passes.
