Billy Owens (Billy Joe Owens) was born on December 2, 1965 in Syracuse, New York. After going to high school at Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, NY), Owens attended the University of Pittsburgh. Owens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 1 year career.
