Billy Neighbors (William Wesley Neighbors) was born on February 4, 1940 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After going to high school at County (Tuscaloosa, AL), Neighbors attended the University of Alabama. Neighbors made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Boston Patriots over the course of his 8 year career.
