Billy Maloney

Billy Maloney (William Alphonse Maloney) was born on June 5, 1878 in Lewiston, Maine. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1901 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1901, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 0 home runs and 22 RBI. Maloney played for the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Browns, Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Billy Maloney's best season was 1905, when he stole 59 bases and knocked in 56 runs.
