Billy Lott (Billy Rex Lott) was born on November 8, 1934 in Sumrall, Mississippi. After going to high school at Sumrall (MS), Lott attended the University of Mississippi. Lott made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Giants the entire time. Lott also played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the Boston Patriots and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 4 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1961 was Billy Lott's best year, as he ran in 5 TDs and caught 6 TD passes.
