Billy Kelly (William Joseph Kelly) was born on May 1, 1886 in Baltimore, Maryland. He made his Major League debut on May 2, 1910 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1912, his rookie year, he hit .318 with 1 home run and 11 RBI. Kelly played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Billy Kelly's best season was 1912, when he hit for a .318 average.
