Billy Jones (William H. Jones, Jr.) was born on January 30, 1920 in Mannington, West Virginia. After going to high school at Mannington (WV), Jones attended the College of Charleston and West Virginia Wesleyan College. Jones made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
