Billy Hughes

Billy Hughes (William Hughes) was born on April 11, 1915 in Van Alstyne, Texas. After going to high school at Van Alstyne (TX), Hughes attended the University of Texas. Hughes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1941 was Billy Hughes's best year.
