Billy Holm (William Frederick Holm) was born on July 21, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 24, 1943 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1944, his rookie year, he hit .136 with 0 home runs and 6 RBI. Holm played for the Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
