Billy Hobert (Billy Joe Hobert) was born on January 8, 1971 in Puyallup, Washington. After going to high school at Puyallup (WA), Hobert attended the University of Washington. Hobert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 5 year career.
