Billy Hix (William Hix) was born on January 18, 1929 in Batesville, Arkansas. After going to high school at Batesville (AR), Hix attended the University of Arkansas. Hix made his professional debut in the NFL in 1950 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
