Billy Griggs (William Edward Griggs, III) was born on August 4, 1962 in Camden, New Jersey. After going to high school at Pennsauken (NJ), Griggs attended the University of Virginia. Griggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1988 was Billy Griggs's best year.
