Billy Grabarkewitz (Billy Cordell Grabarkewitz) was born on January 18, 1946 in Lockhart, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 22, 1969 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1970, his rookie year, he hit .289 with 17 home runs and 84 RBI. Grabarkewitz played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, California Angels, Chicago Cubs and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Billy Grabarkewitz's best season was 1970, when he slugged 17 home runs, hit for a .289 average and knocked in 84 runs.
