Billy Cesare (William Joseph Cesare) was born on June 2, 1955 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Miami Beach (FL), Cesare attended the University of Memphis and the University of Miami. Cesare made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Billy Cesare's best year.
