Billy Brewer (Homer E. Brewer) was born on October 8, 1934 in Columbus, Mississippi. After going to high school at S.D. Lee (Columbus, MS), Brewer attended the University of Mississippi. Brewer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 1 year career.
