Billy Ard (William Donovan Ard) was born on March 12, 1959 in East Orange, New Jersey. After going to high school at Watchung (NJ), Ard attended Wake Forest University. Ard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Billy Ard's best year.
