Born on December 19, 1962 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bill Wegman (William Edward Wegman) played for the Milwaukee Brewers for his entire 11 year career. Wegman broke into the bigs on September 14, 1985 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 5.13 ERA in 198.1 innings pitched in 1986, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Bill Wegman's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1991, when he posted a 2.84 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 89 batters. However, others believe that it was 1992, when he posted a 3.20 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 127 batters.
