Bill Van Dyke (William Jennings Van Dyke) was born on December 15, 1863 in Paris, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1890 for the No Team Name Found. In 1890, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 2 home runs and 54 RBI. Van Dyke played for the No Team Name Found, St. Louis Perfectos and Boston Beaneaters over the course of his 3 year career.
