Born on April 4, 1888 in Akron, Ohio, Bill Upham (William Lawrence Upham) played for the Brooklyn Tip-Tops and Boston Braves over the course of his 2 year career. Upham broke into the bigs on April 10, 1915 with the Brooklyn Tip-Tops, and put up a 3.05 ERA in 121 innings pitched in 1915, his rookie year.
