Bill Swiacki

Bill Swiacki (William Adam Swiacki) was born on October 2, 1922 in Southbridge, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Westbury (Southbridge, MA), Swiacki attended Columbia University and Holy Cross College. Swiacki made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Detroit Lions over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1948 was Bill Swiacki's best year, as he hauled in 39 receptions, had 550 receiving yards and caught 10 TD passes.
