Bill Steen

Born on November 11, 1887 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bill Steen (William John Steen) played for the Cleveland Naps, Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 4 year career. Steen broke into the bigs on April 15, 1912 with the Cleveland Naps, and put up a 3.77 ERA in 143.1 innings pitched in 1912, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Bill Steen's best season was 1914, when he posted a 2.60 ERA and struck out 97 batters.
