Bill Spiers (William James Spiers) was born on June 5, 1966 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1989 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 4 home runs and 33 RBI. Spiers played for the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets and Houston Astros over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Bill Spiers's best season was 1991, when he hit for a .283 average and knocked in 54 runs.
