Born on November 28, 1971 in Hanford, California, Bill Simas (William Anthony Simas) played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 6 year career. Simas broke into the bigs on August 15, 1995 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 4.58 ERA in 72.2 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bill Simas's best season was 1998, when he posted a 3.57 ERA, notched 18 saves and struck out 56 batters.
