Bill Roehnelt (William Edward Roehnelt) was born on June 4, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois. After going to high school at Chillicothe (IL), Roehnelt attended Bradley University. Roehnelt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Chicago Bears. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins over the course of his 3 year NFL career.Roehnelt also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
