Bill Roe (William Oliver Roe) was born on February 6, 1958 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at Thornwood (Markham, IL), Roe attended the University of Colorado. Roe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 2 year career.
