Bill Renna

Bill Renna (William Beneditto Renna) was born on October 14, 1924 in Hanford, California. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1953 for the New York Yankees. In 1954, his rookie year, he hit .232 with 13 home runs and 53 RBI. Renna played for the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Athletics, Kansas City Athletics and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that Bill Renna's best season was 1954, when he knocked in 53 runs.
