Bill Reid (William John Reid) was born on May 2, 1952 in Long Beach, California. After going to high school at St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA), Reid attended Long Beach City College and Stanford University. Reid made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
