Bill Ramsey (William Thrace Ramsey) was born on February 20, 1920 in Osceola, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1945 for the Boston Braves. In 1945, his rookie year, he hit .292 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Ramsey played for the Boston Braves for his entire 1 year career.
