Bill Plummer (William Francis Plummer) was born on March 21, 1947 in Oakland, California. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1968 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .182 with 1 home run and 19 RBI. Plummer played for the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 10 year career.
