Bill Perkins (William Osborne Perkins) was born on January 12, 1941 in Jersey City, New Jersey. After going to high school at Henry Snyder (Jersey City, NJ), Perkins attended the University of Iowa. Perkins made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
