Bill Pecota (William Joseph Pecota) was born on February 16, 1960 in Redwood City, California. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1986 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI. Pecota played for the Kansas City Royals, New York Mets and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Bill Pecota's best season was 1991, when he hit for a .286 average.
