Born on April 9, 1893 in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, Bill Morrell (Willard Blackmer Morrell) played for the Washington Senators and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career. Morrell broke into the bigs on April 20, 1926 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 5.30 ERA in 69.2 innings pitched in 1926, his rookie year.
