Bill Mckalip (William Ward McKalip) was born on June 5, 1907 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mckalip attended Oregon State University. Mckalip made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Portsmouth Spartans. He played for the Detroit Lions and Portsmouth Spartans over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1931 was Bill Mckalip's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
