Bill Mcclard (Bill W. McClard) was born on October 15, 1950 in Purcell, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Norman (OK), Mcclard attended the University of Arkansas. Mcclard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Bill Mcclard's best year.
