Bill McAfee

Born on September 7, 1907 in Smithville, Georgia, Bill McAfee (William Fort McAfee) played for the Chicago Cubs, Boston Braves, Washington Senators and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 5 year career. McAfee broke into the bigs on May 12, 1930 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 6.62 ERA in 53 innings pitched in 1933, his rookie year.
